Try not to get worried, try not to turn on to
Jesus Christ Superstar
Problems that upset you, oh
Don’t you know
Everything’s alright, yes, everything’s fine
And we want you to sleep well tonight
Let the world turn without you tonight
If we try, we’ll get by, so forget all about us tonight
The good news is that the China pandemic is pretty much over.
The bad news is that we now have the Biden virus. And that’s gonna be around for a while, I’m afraid.
So I’m literally watching the nation fall apart at the seems — not at the hands of our enemies, mind you, but by our own hand, as Abe Lincoln so presciently predicted.
Far left policies are unraveling the very fabric of our culture and the underpinnings of our economy. And the ruling class’s only answer is more of the same.
At times like this the only thing to do is focus inward. You know, like how we used to do before the internet and cable news turned us all into 24×7 news junkies.
Turn off the tube, put down the gadgets, and focus on all the things that we used to do — things you can actually control like work, family, friends, health, home, travel, sports, food, drink, and my personal favorite, the great outdoors. The Biden virus can’t get you there.
I’m reminded of the song Everything’s Alright from the original Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack:
Live life, have fun, work hard, play hard and forget about all that other nonsense for a while. Take as much time as you need.
The crazy world can turn just fine without you. I promise, everything will still be exactly where you left it when you get back.
