Do as I say not as I do because
The shit’s so deep you can’t run away

– Billie Joe Armstrong

Glenfarclas 12 scotch in hand — on the rocks, natch — I’m sitting here thinking about how to explain to you guys that I have overdosed on lunacy and am taking a break from our nation of media and politics-obsessed dumbasses who elect even dumber dumbasses to run the place.

It’s not a digital detox, mind you. It’s an idiocy detox. I’ve been at it for a few weeks now and, you know, I’m feeling smarter and saner already.

Yes, I am aware that these escapes have been occurring with increasing frequency lately. That can’t be helped.

There’s just so much idiocy and hypocrisy piling up out there that I’m less and less ecstatic about trudging through all the BS to make a logical point that would be obvious to a third-grader — who wasn’t indoctrinated to critical race theory, that is.

As Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong said, “Do as I say not as I do because the shit’s so deep you can’t run away.”

Frankly, it’s overwhelming to the point where just working, working on the property and partying when I’m not working are all way more satisfying and entertaining activities than commenting on our increasingly ludicrous and devolving woke culture.

You all know what I’m talking about. I know you do. Don’t make me say it and ruin my excellent progress.

I’m sure it’s only a temporary condition. That said, I encourage all of you to try an idiocy detox yourself. What does that mean exactly? As if I really have to tell you. It means no cable news. No social media. And no politics. Duh.

Try it. It goes great with Glenfarclas 12 … or 17, should you be so inclined as I just was. On the rocks, natch. Cheers y’all.
